Special accommodation rates have been secured exclusively for KAO Instructors Conference 2026 attendees at Shangri-La The Fort, Manila. These rates are only available for reservations made through Kumon. Early Check-In
Delegates who wish to check in before the standard check‑in time of 2:00 pm are required to reserve an additional night prior to arrival, and a full‑day room charge will apply. Early check‑in must be pre‑arranged and is subject to availability.
About Check-Out
Check-out time at Shangri-La The Fort, Manila is 12:00 pm local time on the day of departure.
Late Check-Out Policy
Delegates who wish to check out after the standard check‑out time of 12:00 pm will be charged 50% of the applicable room rate for check‑outs until 4:00 pm, and a full night’s room rate for check‑outs after 4:00 pm. Late check‑out must be pre‑arranged and is subject to availability.
Extended Hotel Stay
If you plan to arrive earlier or extend your stay, the group rate is available for up to 3 days before your selected package start date and through 2 December 2026, subject to room availability. To arrange an extended stay, please contact the hotel directly and quote the name used for your booking. Stays beyond this period will be charged at the hotel’s standard published rates.

Flight arrangements vary across Kumon offices, and your respective KAOIC staff‑in‑charge will advise you on the booking process. If you have registered for the Centre Visit, it is recommended that you book your flight only after receiving confirmation from your office around mid‑August.
If you intend to depart on Sunday, 29 November 2026, note that the conference ends at 2:00 pm. To avoid missing any part of the programme and to allow adequate travel time to the airport, we strongly recommend booking an evening flight.
Arrival & Departure

Complimentary airport transfers between Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) and Shangri-La The Fort, Manila will be provided for delegates who:
• Have signed up for the full conference package, and
• Are arriving on Thursday, 26 November 2026 or Friday, 27 November 2026.
Important Notes:
• Transfers are only provided if your arrival date matches the check-in date of your Kumon package.
• If you extend your stay outside the check-in date of the package you booked with Kumon by arriving earlier, transfer arrangements will not be provided.
• There will be no partial refund for delegates who are eligible for airport transfers but choose not to use the service.
• Scheduled transfer timings will be provided via the Whova app (KAO Instructors Conference 2026) closer to the conference date.
Departures
Complimentary airport transfers between Shangri-La The Fort, Manila and Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) will be provided for delegates who:
• Have signed up for the full conference package, and
• Are departing on Sunday, 29 November 2026, or Monday, 30 November 2026.

• If you extend your stay outside the check-out date of the package you booked with Kumon by leaving later, transfer arrangements will not be provided.

Passport Validity Reminder
As a general rule, please ensure that your passport has at least six months of validity remaining from your intended date of travel. Many countries, including Philippines as well as several airlines, strictly enforce this six-month validity rule.
To avoid any travel disruptions, we also recommend checking with your airline(s), and any countries you may transit through, to confirm their specific entry and transit requirements, as these may vary.
Entry Visa Requirements
For overseas delegates (Kumon franchisees and staff only), please confirm with your travel agency or the Philippines Embassy whether a visa is required for you to enter into The Philippines. If an entry visa is required, please indicate it during registration and complete all information required. We will then prepare and send you an official invitation letter from Kumon Philippines, Inc. to submit with your visa application.
Please note that the accompanying person will need to apply for and obtain his/her own travel visa prior to departure, as invitation letters will only be provided to registered Kumon delegates.

All attendees of the KAO Instructors Conference 2026 are required to arrange their own medical, travel, and personal insurance. Kumon will not be held liable for any claims made by attendees who fail to secure appropriate insurance.
Insurance should be purchased in your country of origin before departure.
We strongly recommend that you secure a suitable insurance policy at the same time you book your travel.
